Lawrence Davis

Lawrence M. “Larry” Davis, died at Clark County Health Care on Friday, June, 30 2017. He was born in a log cabin on May 16, 1939 to Herb and Eldrid “Chatfield” Davis. Larry had many friends and was known for his wonderful memory. He was very good at arithmetic and remembered 4050 birthdays sending cards to many people on their special day. Larry loved to travel, especially to Hawaii, where he visited 28 times. Larry was a very good dancer and also played the organ. Larry became a Christian in 1951 and played the king in the Christmas play for 15 years. He will be remembered for his big smile and always willing to strike up a conversation. He is survived by his siblings: Jim (Marie) Davis of Bloomer, Richard (Judy) Davis of Coon Rapids, Michael (Margaret) Davis of Eau Claire, Mary (Roger) Hetchler of Menomonie, Florence Davis Prairie Farm WI and Pamela (Mike) North of New Auburn, numerous nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Island Lake Church of Christ with a visitation from 12:30 until 2:00.
