Rosalie Smith

Rosalie Smith, age 95, passed away Friday, July 15, 2016 at Dove Healthcare in Bloomer. She was born May 17, 1921 in Birnamwood WI to Arthur and Ruth (Schellin) Bohlman. She married Fred F. Smith on June 14, 1943 in Eland WI. She enjoyed baking, cooking, gardening (especially flowers) and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband: Fred of; sons: Joseph (Patricia) Smith of Cadott, Fred Smith of Mt Horeb WI and Arthur (Kathy) Smith of Cadott; daughters: Linda Meyer of Oconomowoc WI, Ruth (Gary) Felton of Eau Claire, Lori (Jeff) Buchner of Bloomer and Amy (Brad) Oemig of Shell Lake; brother: David Bohlman of Madison; 18 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents: Arthur and Ruth Bohlman; brothers: John, Arthur and Paul Bohlman; son: Paul Smith; daughter-in-law: Mary Smith. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 12:00 PM at First Lutheran Church located at 15 E Sawyer St, Rice Lake, WI. There will be a time of sharing one hour prior to the service at the church.
