Dolores J. Polentini, 77, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Kenosha on August 9, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Benedetto and Emilia (Iorio) Santelli. She was a lifelong resident of Kenosha and attended local schools.
On September 15, 1956, she married Joseph R. Polentini, Sr. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. For a number of years she worked at the family bakery, but Dolores’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph R. Polentini, Sr. of Kenosha; a son, Joseph (Jenny) Polentini of Kenosha; four daughters, Mary (Dan) Kober of Beach Park, IL, Linda (Ron Biggs) Patrick of Kenosha, Nancy Patrick of Kenosha and Lisa (Frank) DeAngelis of Salem; three brothers, Guy (Gemma) Santelli, Ben (Janet) Santelli and Robert (Kathleen) Santelli, all of Kenosha; a sister, Theresa Chianelli of Racine; eleven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 3rd, from Proko Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday at Proko Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Proko Funeral Home.
