Dorothea J. Travanty, 83, a resident of the Washington Manor Nursing Home, died Sunday, December 23rd, 2007. Born on October 31, 1924, in Kenosha, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Laura (Meier) Bloom. Dorothea was a life long resident of Kenosha. On February 2, 1958, she married Harold Travanty, in Waukegan, IL. He preceded her in death on February 13, 1997. Dorothea was a homemaker throughout her life. There will be no visitation or funeral services per Dorothea's wishes.
