Elizabeth M. Hayes, 92, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 15, 2012, at her residence at Meadowmere Southport Assisted Living.
Born on June 9, 1920, she was a lifelong Kenosha resident, educated in local schools.
Elizabeth was a teacher most of her life, retiring from Carthage College. She later went on to teach Driver’s Education for several years.
She was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church, was a Chicago Bears fan, and was an avid baseball fan who loved to watch the Chicago Cubs.
Surviving her is a brother, William J. Hayes in Seattle, WA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John Hayes.
A special thank you to Dr. Raymond Knight and also the entire staff at Meadowmere for all of the kind and compassionate care they gave Elizabeth.
A memorial Mass will be held on Friday, September 28th, at St. Marks’ Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m.
