Harold Kenneth “Ken” Bradley, 64, of Pleasant Prairie, passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2012, at St. Catherine’s Medical Center. Born in Kenosha on June 2, 1947, he was the son of the late Harold and Esther (Falk) Bradley. Ken grew up in Zion, IL, where he graduated from Zion Benton High School. He was drafted into the service on June 30, 1967, serving in the U.S. Army with the 101st Airborne Division until his honorable discharge on June 30, 1987. He received the Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with five Campaign Stars, thirteen Air Medals, two Overseas Service Bars, Aircraft Crewman Badge, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Army Service Ribbon, three Overseas Service Ribbons, and the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with a Palm. On July 1, 1995, he married Deborah Belongia in Kenosha. After Ken left the Army, he moved to Kenosha and was a civilian employee at the Great Lakes Naval Base until his retirement in August of 2010. He loved going to air shows and the EAA, riding his motorcycle, viewing wildlife, and hunting. Survivors include his wife, Deborah of Pleasant Prairie; two daughters, Kymberlee Bradley of Huntsville, AL, and Stephania (Wayne) Dejno of Jacksonville, FL; two step sons, Dr. Daniel (Jill) Belongia of Bloomington, IL, and Thomas (Anna) Belongia of Wausau, WI; two brothers, Dennis Michael (Hilda) Bradley of Libertyville, IL, and Thomas Falk Bradley of Zion, IL; eleven grandchildren, Amber, Mitchel, Ashley, Maggie, Mason, Abigale, Sophie, Jenni, Alli, Paige and Jack; and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 7th, at the Proko Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held at the Proko Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
