Jacquelyn Johnson, 59, of Kenosha, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2012, at St. Catherine’s Medical Center in Pleasant Prairie.
Born in Kenosha on August 7, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Jesse (Cross) Villella. She was a lifelong resident of Kenosha and was educated in local schools.
On August 15, 1992, she married Larry W. Johnson in Kenosha. He preceded her in death on May 19, 2009.
She was formerly employed by Big Buck Building Center for over 20 years, starting out in the accounting department and later as Vice President of finance and technology. She than started her own quilting business, making and selling handmade quilts.
She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, needlepoint, cooking, baking and her pets. She was a huge supporter of the Humane Society, ASPCA, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her two children, Erika (James) Nemeth of Summerville, SC, and Brian Thielen of Kenosha; a sister, Josephine Zoll of Seattle, WA; and her four grandchildren, Cody, Gabriel, Tanner and Kolton. Jackie is also survived by aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Jerome Villella.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 9th, at Proko Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday at Proko Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
