Jerry Lee Pace, 54, of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee.
Born in Kenosha on March 29, 1960, he was the son of Oldridge “Ray” and Iva “Bernice” (Maness) Pace. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, he was educated in local schools.
On April 21, 1980, he married Janice Inman in Kenosha.
Jerry was employed with the City of Kenosha for 22 years. He was past president of the Local 71, loved playing his guitar, working with wood and recently began polishing his culinary skills. He also enjoyed drawing, fishing, rooting for the Green Bay Packers, playing darts and was just beginning to get more involved with the Relay For Life as a four year survivor. Although he was known as the world’s greatest BS’er, he would not hesitate to do anything for anyone who asked.
Survivors include his wife, Janice of Kenosha; two children, Jeremy (Amanda Krempely) Pace and Jene Pace-Burke, both of Kenosha; his father, Ray Pace of Racine; two brothers, Victor (Denise) Pace of Kenosha and Rick “Dale” (Mary) Pace of Racine; two sisters, Linda (Steve) Poland of Oregon, WI, and Sherry (Gene) Ingram of Winthrop Harbor, IL; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Bernice Pace; and a daughter, Jennifer Pace.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th, at the Proko Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 5:00 p.m. Interment will be held on Monday, June 30th, at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
