JoAnn Louise Medina, 59, of Kenosha, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2012, at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. Born in Kenosha on December 3, 1952, she was the daughter of Raymond and Irene (Migliano) Kraning. She attended Kenosha schools and graduated from Bradford High School in 1971. On May 3, 1975, she married her high school sweetheart, Ruben Medina, Sr. In addition to being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she was employed by Jockey International for 35 years. Starting on the line and eventually moving to the customer service department. JoAnn always had a smile no matter what and will be missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Ruben Medina, Sr.; her two sons, Ruben Medina, Jr. and Jeff (Jenny) Medina; grandchild, Ella; and her brother, Mike (Janet) Kraning. She is also survived by Uncle Arnold and Aunt Betty Migliano, and Aunt Elvira Perry as well as other uncles, aunts and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Irene (Migliano) Kraning; and brother, Raymond Kraning, Jr. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of St. Catherine's Hospital and Kidney Center and doctors and nurses of Froedtert Hospital. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 22nd, at the Proko Funeral Home from 11:00a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with services beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow immediately after at Green Ridge Cemetery.
