Josephine Cristiano

Josephine Cristiano, 82, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at Hospice Alliance Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie surrounded by her loving family. Born in Lago, Cosenza, Italy, on January 21, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Isolina (Muto) Molinaro. She came to the United States in 1954. On November 29, 1959, she married Andrea Cristiano in Kenosha. He preceded her in death on September 27, 2005. Josephine was employed as a seamstress for Holleb’s Bridal. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and enjoyed cooking, baking, and sewing. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her six children, Michael Cristiano of Kenosha, Rose Celebre of Kenosha, Andrea (Jayme) Cristiano Jr. Pleasant Prairie, Maria Cristiano of Kenosha, Teresa Cristiano of Pleasant Prairie, and Frank Cristiano of Winthrop Harbor, IL; a brother, Charles Molinaro of Las Vegas, NV; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Molinaro; a daughter-in-law, Kathy Cristiano; and a son-in-law, Kevin Corrigall. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 16th, at Proko Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 17th, with a prayer service at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. and a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum.
