Born on May 10, 1927 in Nadeau, MI; he was the son of the late Jule and Edna (DeRosler) Gibour. He served in the United States Army during World War II, from August 18, 1945 until he was honorably discharged on March 14, 1947. On September 25, 1948, he married Beverly Boye in MI. Shortly after they moved to Waukegan, IL. Marvin owned and operated Gibour Masonary. He was taught the trade by Beverly’s father. He was a very hard worker and was truly talented. He built two homes for his family, one of which was his dream home in Wallace, MI where he retired. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time with his three loving granddaughters, Heather, Missy, and Sarah. Marvin was an excellent bowler. He bowled on many leagues and was no stranger to a 300 game. He was an avid Packers fan. He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly of Kenosha; his three children, James (Merced) Gibour of Lindenhurst, IL, Judith Thompson of Kenosha, and Lawrence Gibour of Canyon Lake, TX; six grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
