Marvin A. Jensen

Marvin A. Jensen, 83, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully Monday, October 27, 2014, at Manor Care Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Kenosha. Born In Boyd, WI, on June 25, 1931, he was the son of the late Edward and Beulah (Bell) Jensen. Marvin served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict from November 15, 1949, until his honorable discharge on January 30, 1953. He received the Korean Service Medal with 3Broze Stars, the United Nations Service Medal, the ROK Presidential Unit Citation and the Combat Infantry Badge. He was married to Rosemary Ogden; she preceded him in death on June 14, 2012. Marvin was a master carpenter and worked for Petretti Builders as well as many others. He then moved to Alaska to teach carpentry at a vocational school. Marvin was an avid bowler. Surviving are his five children, Deborah (Zarko) Radovanovic of Kenosha, Jeffrey Jensen of Cheyenne, WY, Rhonda Milton of Alaska, Marcus (Susanne) Jensen of Wisconsin, and Angela Houser of Alaska; a sister, June Zimmerman of Alaska; ten grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
