Michael Sarckess

Michael Russell Sarckees, 51, of Kenosha, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012, at Evanston Hospital in Evanston, IL, after a long illness. Born May 17, 1961, in Ft. Riley, KS, he was the son of Bakus and Janet (Harwood) Sarckees. In 1995 he moved to the Kenosha area. On January 1, 1996 he married Terese Perozzo in Midland, TX. Michael was employed by New Trier High School until 2009 due to health issues. He was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church. He enjoyed NASCAR, football, basketball, baseball, holidays, his son’s baseball games, getting together with his friends for BBQ’s, traveling in his RV and riding his motorcycle. Michael is survived by his wife, Terese of Kenosha; his son, Michael Louis Sarckees; step-son, Myles David Orear; parents, Bakus (Chris) Sarckees and Janet (Jim) Click, both of Midland, TX; a sister, Kathie Larsen of Kenosha; two brothers, Ray (Sherry) Sarckees of Kenosha and Mark (Emma) Sarckees of Midland, TX; two daughters from a previous marriage, Sarah (Dan) Pasko of Kenosha and Stephanie (Matt) Lindstrom of Waukesha, WI; mother-in-law, Jean Perozzo; grandchild, Elliot Pasko; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Louis Perozzo. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Ron and Jackie Anderson for all of their love and support. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 4th, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private at a later date. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
