Michael Anthony Vaccarella

<p> Michael Anthony Vaccarella, 64, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 15, 2015, at United Hospital System-Kenosha Campus after a long illness with Sarcoidosis.</p><p> Born on in Kenosha on April 15, 1951, he was the son of Leonard Anthony and Gertrude Marie (Genack) Vaccarella, Sr. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, he was educated in local schools.</p><p> Michael was employed as a mechanic with the Park District of Highland Park for several years. He was an avid musician, playing the guitar and was the drummer for Yesterday’s Children. Michael was also known as someone who could fix anything.</p><p> Surviving is his mother, Gertrude Vaccarella of Kenosha; his sister, Marie Louise Serpe of Kenosha; a niece, Lisa (Dan) Becker of Kenosha; a nephew, Anthony “Tony” (Cindy) Serpe of Kenosha; two great-nephews, Hunter Becker and Niko Serpe; two great-nieces, Kaitlyn Becker and Sophia Serpe; and the love of his life, Renee Mehleis, and her children and grandchildren.
