Thomas A. Molinaro

Thomas A. “Tamoe” Molinaro, 78, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 20, 2015, at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee.<br> Born in Kenosha on May 27, 1937, he was the son of the late Samuel L. and Theresa (Barca) Molinaro. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, he was educated in local schools.<br> Tom served in the U.S. Marine Corps from November 21, 1955, until he was honorably discharged on November 20, 1958. He received the Good Conduct Medal.<br> As fate would have it, Thomas and Kelly Madsen were together 19 years and faithfully married on December 17, 2012.<br> Tom was employed as a steward with American Motors Corporation until his retirement on December 31, 1987. He was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church and enjoyed going to the horse track. He loved his daily morning stops at the Hillcrest Restaurant, camping, hunting, fishing, golfing and just being in the outdoors. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and the jokes he told.<br> Survivors include his wife, Kelly Molinaro of Kenosha; two sons, David (Lisa) Molinaro of Ladysmith, VA, and James Molinaro of Valley Village, CA; three step children, Geno Madsen, Ashley Madsen and Derrick Turner, all of Kenosha; a sister, Florence Rossa of Kenosha; five grandchildren, Christopher Molinaro, Anthony (Julianna) Molinaro, Camron Horochena, Brianna Horochena and Caiden Horochena; and a great-grandchild on the way. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and his beloved cat, Missy.<br> He was preceded in death by two daughters, Suzanne Marie Molinaro and Patricia Anne Molinaro; a brother, Samuel P. Molinaro; and a sister, Caroline “La” Rossa.<br> Visitation will be held on Friday, November 27th, at the Proko Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 28th, at the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at St. Therese Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery with full military honors.
