Wesley Robert Yankovich, 67, of Kenosha, died suddenly on Thursday, July 8, 2010, at his home.
Born in Racine on January 22, 1943, he was the son of the late Mikel and Mary (Baich) Yankovich. On May 2, 1964 he married Ranelle Marie Blavat at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Brookfield, WI. He has been a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses since 1963.
Wesley retired from J.I. Case in 1990 after 30 years. Presently, he did part-time custodial work at J.C. Penney’s at Regency Mall for the past eight years. He was a classic car enthusiast and was often seen around town attending local drive-in car shows.
He was a very loving Husband, Father and Grandfather who will be missed by his wife of 46 years Ranelle, a daughter, Christine Marie (Fred) Leslie of Sheboygan, WI, and a son, Kevin Robert (Michelle) Yankovich of Kenosha, WI, three grandchildren, Amanda Marie, Brittany Hannah and Jordan James Leslie. Also survived by many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his four brothers and five sisters.
A memorial service for Wesley will be held on Monday, July 12th, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 7333 Green Bay Road, Kenosha, WI, at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will be held on Monday at the Kingdom Hall at 6:00 p.m. prior to the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses would be appreciated by the family.
