Yolanda Leys Obituary

Yolanda Leys, 77, of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2010, at her residence.
Born in Kenosha on February 14, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Jennie (Tricomi) Campolo. She was a lifelong resident of Kenosha and was educated in local schools.
On May 26, 1956, she married Richard Leys at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church.
She was employed with Jockey for 29 years.
Yolanda was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church and enjoyed collecting knick knacks and clothing with the Peanuts character "Snoopy" on them, reading books and doing crossword puzzles.
Survivors include her husband, Richard of Kenosha; a son, Richard "Rick" (Deena) Leys of Kenosha; two daughters, Janet (David) Uhlir and Mary (Mark) Zorc, both of Kenosha; twelve grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers, Lawrence, James, Joseph, John, Thomas, Fred and Anthony; and six sisters, Florence Jackman, Martha Schwanke, Carmella Murphy, Hilda Campolo, Theresa Campolo and Antoinette "Dolly" Davison.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 30th, at St. Therese Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at Proko Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Memorials to Hospice Alliance or St. Therese Catholic Church would be appreciated by the family.
