Blondine Bussey Obituary

Ms. Blondine Bussey was born December 13, 1947 in Philadelphia, Mississippi to Ms. Verlean Burkes. She departed from this life on February 1, 2020 at Harris Methodist Hospital in Ft. Worth, Texas to be with her Heavenly Father.

Blondine found great joy down through the years doing what she loved the most which was taking care of others by way of Foster Care or In Home care for seniors. Her professional career started out as a Data Processor, but realized her true ministry was helping others.

Blondine truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; dining out, chatting with friends and family, and spending time with her loved ones. She had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way.

Blondine was a wonderful mother, aunt, sister, grandmother and friend to many people who looked to her for their foundation and strength. She was very committed to her family near and far. She found great strength from her unwavering faith in God. Her absolute favorite scripture was Psalm 27, in its entirety.

She is survived two children, Antoin Bussey (Madison) and Grover Wilson (Madison); two grandchildren, David Thomas and Abigail Wilson; two sisters, Pearlie Ann Carter (Ft. Worth, TX) and Velma Myers (Austin, TX); one brother Jessie Howard (Orlando, FL). Her brother J.T. Burkes preceded her in death.
