Beth Aleff

Beth Aleff, 57, of Cedar Grove, went home to her heavenly father on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Aurora Grafton Medical Center. Beth was born on August 4, 1959 in Sheboygan to LeRoy and Eleanor (Graskamp) Marshall. She was a 1977 graduate of Cedar Grove High School. On November 8, 1980 she married Peter Aleff in Cedar Grove. For over 20 years, Beth opened up her home and cared for many children at her in home daycare. Beth was an active member of Calvary OPC in Cedar Grove, where she served on various committees, was the director of vacation bible school, sang in the church choir and was a member of Ruth fellowship. Beth enjoyed making cards, painting crafts with her dad and sister, Kathy, rides on the pontoon boat, and summer trips to Minocqua. Beth loved spending time with her family, especially her four precious grandchildren. Beth is survived by her husband of 36 years, Peter; two sons, Andy (girlfriend Natasha) and Josh (Karlin)both of Cedar Grove; four grandchildren, Asher, Liam, Nolan and Harper; two sisters, Brenda (Scott) Aleff of Sheboygan Falls and Kathy (Ed) Waech of Oostburg; one brother-in-law, Ross (Patrice) Aleff of Pine Island, MN; aunts and uncles, Bruce (Althea) Bunker and Linda Marshall; nieces and nephews, Ashley (Adam), Travis (Alyssa), Jordan (Erika) and Courtney (Sawyer). Beth is further survived by many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; parents-in-law, Vernon and Gloria Aleff; and one uncle, Walter Marshall. A funeral service to celebrate Beth’s life will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 10am at Calvary OPC in Cedar Grove with Rev. David Cornette officiating. Burial will be at Oostburg Cemetery in the town of Holland. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg from 4-8pm and again on Friday at the CHURCH from 9am until the time of service at 10am. A memorial fund is being established in Beth’s name.
