Charles Martin Krohn ‘Chuck’, age 81, passed away on March 18, 2017, at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center. He was born on July 13, 1935, the son of Erwin A. and Clara W. (Meister) Krohn in Reedsburg, Wisconsin. Chuck graduated from Reedsburg High School in 1953. On April 20, 1968, he was united in marriage to Carla A. Marquardt in Baraboo, WI. He retired from Skinner Transfer in 2001, after working for 47 years as a dispatcher. He enjoyed watching football, basketball and golf, and spending time with his dog, Lilly. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Mick Krohn. He is survived by his wife, Carla of Reedsburg; Children, Kevin (Misty Schutz) Krohn of Prairie du Sac, Jody Dunse of Reedsburg; Grandchildren, Savannah Hullstrung, Tabitha and Kane Dunse, Logan Krohn, Brandon and Trevor Spray; Brother, Ronald (Nancy) Krohn of Verona; Sister-in-law, Luanne Krohn of Reedsburg; Brother-in-law, James (Shirley) Marquardt; Special family member, Kevin Dunse of Reedsburg; Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and Lilly. Mass of Christian Burial for Charles ‘Chuck’ Krohn will be conducted on Thursday, March 23, 2017, at 1:00 P.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Reedsburg with Father David Carrano officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Reedsburg. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at the church. The Farber Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
