Jeanette Marie Judd, 68, of Reedsburg, passed away Friday, August 18, 2017, at her residence with her family by her side. Jeanette was born October 10, 1948 in Reedsburg to the late Harold and Lucille (Churchill) Gates. She attended Kelly Country School in the Town of Winfield through sixth grade and graduated from Webb High School in 1966. On August 19, 1967, she married Harley Judd at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Loganville. During High School and following graduation she worked with Ike Isaacson on the development of Lakes Redstone and Dutch Hollow. She then helped Virgil Hartje begin the Hartje Lumber Company. After many years with Virgil Hartje, she then began her career with State Bank of Cazenovia, LaValle Branch, where she spent almost 30 years as a loan officer and developed many treasured friendships, especially with Dan and Deb Dee. Family always came first. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening and her flowers, mushroom hunting, cooking and the Milwaukee Brewers. No task was too large, and no request went un-answered. She had a place for everything, and everything had its place. In addition to her husband Harley, she is survived by her sons; Mark (Carrie) Judd of Loganville and Jamie (Karen) Judd of LaValle, Her grandchildren; Mason, Logan, Brayden and Baylee, Her sisters Diane (Harold) Janechek and Linda (Mark) Holly, Her brother Richard (Jan) Gates, And many other relatives and friends. Funeral Services for Jeanette will take place on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 11:00 am, at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Loganville. The Reverend Donald Glanzer, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow services at St Peter Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg, and at the church on Thursday from 10:00am until the time of service. Thank you to Dr. Lepeak and Home Health United Home Care and Hospice for taking wonderful care of our wife and mother. A memorial fund has been established in her name. Farber Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
