Leola Brylla

Leola Marie Brylla was born in Baraboo, Wisconsin on January 22, 1924 to the late Ervin and Flora (Wilcox) Good. Leola passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 93. Leola graduated from high school in Reedsburg, Wisconsin and went on to attend Anne Arundel Community College for two years. Leola was a homemaker for most of her life. On September 15, 1956, Leola married Charles William Paul Brylla in Baraboo, Wisconsin, he preceded her in death April 29, 2001. Their union was blessed with three children, Cathy, Linda and Ron. Leola was a wonderful wife and mother. She adored her family and loved spending time with them. Leola was a people person; she loved people and never met a stranger. Leola was a Red Cross volunteer for over 25 years. She also supported the Cancer Society and was a member of Army Communitive Service. Leola was a past Army Wife of the Year and member of Retired Officers Wives Club. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles and bird watching. Leola was also a member of Rhema Bible Church. Leola is survived by, Children; Cathy McGarrah and husband Cecil, Broken Arrow, OK Linda Hendrickson and John Brockway, Portland, OR Ron Brylla, Mena, AR She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband Charles, she was preceded in death by an infant son David, and a sister Margaret Good-Costerisan Funeral Services for Leola will be held Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at 11:00 am, at Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm, and on Wednesday, from 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow services at Oak Hill Cemetery in North Freedom. Memorials may be made to Rhema Bible Church, PO Box 50126, Tulsa, OK 74150-0126 or https://www.rhemabiblechurch.com/give/.
