Michael age 40 and Michelle age 36, Schanke of Reedsburg died on Sunday, June 25, 2017 as a result of a fire in their home. Michael was born on December 29, 1976 in Reedsburg, WI the son of Mary Anderson. Michelle was born on January 30, 1981 in Sparta, WI the daughter of Timothy and Diane (Taft) Turner. Both are survived by their son, Cole of Reedsburg Michael is further survived by his mother, Mary of Reedsburg Sisters: Marsha (Dave) Burdick of Cazenovia and Peggy Denman of Baraboo Niece: Brittany, Nephews: Tyeler and Brandon Michelle is further survived by her mother, Diane Turner of Reedsburg Brother and Sisters: Tierney (Nick) Miller of Sauk City, Tina (Chris) Alt of Spring Green, Tom (Dawne) Turner of Baraboo, Becky (Matt) Gawronski of Reedsburg Nieces and Nephews; Alex, Ashley, Brandon, Taylor, Ethan, Evan, Grace, Sebastian, Chloe, Bristol Both are survived by other relatives and many friends. Michael was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Delbert and Kate Anderson, Cousins, Kym and Chris. Father-in-law; Timothy J. Turner; Brother-in-law; Greg T. Gallup. Michelle was preceded in death by her father, Timothy J. Turner and her brother, Greg T. Gallup. Mike was employed at Grede Foundries for 20 years and enjoyed his co-workers and what he did. Michelle was employed at Dean Clinic in Baraboo for 8 years. Her heart was filled with compassion and unconditional love working along side Dr. J. Mathers and for their patients. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2017 from 3-7 P.M. at the Farber Funeral Home and again on Sunday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Funeral services will be held at the Farber Funeral Home on Sunday at 11:00 A.M. with Chaplin Daniel Farber officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Reedsburg. The family is requesting memorials of remembrance be made to the family for the benefit of their son Cole. A very special thank you to Police Chief Tim Becker, the Reedsburg Police Dept.; Fire Chief Craig Douglas, the Reedsburg Fire Dept., the LaValle Fire Dept. along with the neighbors of North Walnut Street.
