Passed away peacefully on March 15, 2018 at the age of 86 at Seasons Hospice in Waukesha, WI Jim married his wife Barbara Hall on June 11, 1960. Jim graduated from Whiting Indiana High School in 1949. After high school he furthered his education at the University of Indiana in Bloomington, Indiana. In 1953 Jim graduated with a B.S in Chemistry. In 1953 Jim enlisted in the Army where he served until 1955. While deployed in Korean War he served as a Combat Engineer. For 30 years Jim worked as a chemist and engineer for the application of corn sweeteners in the food industry.
In Jim’s later years he enjoyed managing and expanding family real estate investments. Jim also loved to drive his old “66” bright red corvette. Jim was a member of Evangelical and Reformed United Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife Barbara and three children; George (Lynn) of Waukesha, Jim (Kathy) of Manitowoc and Jenny (Dale) Hummel of Minnesota. He is further survived by grandsons; Nathan, Robert, John, Josh and Daniel. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Agnes Golding (nee Atchinson), brother, Bob and sister, Corliss.

Visitation will be held from 12:30PM until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:30PM on Friday, March 23, 2018 at Evangelical and Reformed United Church of Christ. The Rev. Bob Gross will be officiating. Burial will be private.
