James “Jim” E. Steinke, age 71, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at The Kathy Hospice in West Bend. He was born on September 9, 1948 in Eau Claire, WI to Edward and Louise (nee Travis) Steinke. Jim is survived by his former wife and best friend Mary J. Steinke of New Berlin, WI; 2 children, Jennifer (Nate) Weibye of Plainfield, IL and Chad (Sarah) Steinke of West Bend; grandchildren, Cora, Ella and Ava Weibye and Spencer, Alex and Ethan Steinke; sister Cheryl (Ronnie) Swenson of Oak Creek, WI. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jim is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Alan Steinke. To honor Jim’s wishes, a private family service will be held. A special thank you to the staff of Froedtert of West Bend/St. Joseph’s Hospital.
