Jesse Page Moxley

JESSE PAGE MOXLEY, 91 years, died on Saturday, February 3, 2018 in his Street Maryland home. Married for 69 years, he was the beloved husband of Ruby A. (Parsons) Moxley. Born on January 11, 1927 in the family farm house in Street, he was one of three sons born to the late Jesse Adam and Myrtle (Douglas) Moxley. A lifetime resident of Street, Jesse worked for over 50 years for I.U.O.E. Local #37 as crane operator. He worked on projects that included the Francis Scott Key Bridge, Harbor Tunnel, the Ft. McHenry Tunnel, M&T Stadium for the Baltimore Ravens as well as Camden Yards for the Baltimore Orioles, retiring in 1992. He enjoyed shooting pistols – earning the Master Marksman Award in the State of Maryland and was a charter member of Cedar Gun Club of Harford County. In addition, he had his pilot license, enjoying flying to airshows and aviation. He attended Delta Baptist Church and was known as a loving father, grandfather and friend. In addition to his wife, he is survived by: Two children- Gary P. Moxley of Street, MD Margie King of Delta, PA Four grandchildren- Jesse Page Moxley, Kimberly Moxley, David King and Benjamin King Two great grandchildren He was preceded in death by his brothers-Ray T. Moxley and Roy E. Moxley Services will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church, 3135 Dublin Road, Street, MD with a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. followed immediately with the funeral service. Reverend John Davis will officiate with interment in Harford Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen, MD. In lieu of flowers, his family would appreciate memorial contributions to Delta Baptist Church, 629 Main Street, Delta, PA 17314
