William O. Westbrook, 92, retired from Cooper Tire Rubber Co., died April 12, 2013 at home in Coldwater. Visitation is Monday April 15, 2013, 12:30 - 1:30 P.M. at Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS. Funeral services are 2:00 P.M. Monday April 15, 2013 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with burial in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS is handling the arrangements.
Mr. Westbrook was a dedicated U.S. Army Veteran having served in World War II. He was an active member of VFW Post 3936 and a member of Bett Baptist Church in Coldwater, MS.
Survivors include: Wife of 65 years Frances O'Neal Westbrook; son William A. "Bubba" Westbrook (Ruth) of Olive Branch, MS.; 3 daughters; Carol Underwood (Dickie) of Cleveland, MS., Linda Bolton (Wallace) of Coldwater, MS. and Kaye Borgognoni (Timmy) of Cordova TN.; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents William Ernest and Izma Outzs Westbrook, son Gene Williams, 2 daughters Wanda Westbrook Windham and Joyce Mellon.
