Kenneth Dale Seratt, 71, of Mountainburg, AR entered into heaven at his home, Monday, May 6, 2013. Kenneth was a retired foreman for Bassham Nursery, a U. S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, a recipient of the Bronze Star with V Device for Heroism, Air Medal Flight, Army Commendation Medal and 5 Purple Hearts during his tour of duty in Vietnam in 1968-1969, a member of the VFW Post #8855, Mountainburg, AR and attended the Chester Free Will Baptist Church. He was born October 5, 1941 in Chester, AR to the late Clarence and Rosie (Pace) Seratt and also preceded in death by one sister, Stella Easter and a brother William Seratt. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda Seratt of the home; two brothers, Raymond Seratt and his wife June of Chester, AR and Jim Seratt and his wife Brenda of Chester; one sister, Beulah Watkins of Mountainburg and numerous Nieces, Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews. Funeral services will be 3:00 P. M. Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Chester Free Will Baptist Church with interment in Freedom Cemetery with military honors under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. The family will visit with friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday evening, May 8, 2013 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma. Pallbearers will be Jimmie Ray Seratt, Ricky Seratt, Clarence Ray Easter, Steve Lovett, Ryan Sorensen and Darel Lewis. Honorary pallbearers will be Barbara Lovett, Melissa Seratt, Tina Sorensen, Courtney Christee, Shawnee Sorensen, Cole Seratt, Cody Easter and Bruce Lockart.
