Peggy J. "Peg" Bearden, 80, of Twin Falls, died Friday, September 29, 2017 at Rosetta Assisted Living in Twin Falls.  Peggy was born July 1, 1937 at Hartford City, Indiana to Earl C. & Cleva O. Runyon. Peggy was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was proud of her family and proud to become “Grandma” to her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and just recently became a great-great grandma. She loved the family get-togethers.  Any chance to spend time with her family was very important to her. She had the kindest heart and, as remembered by her grandson, David, the strongest women he knew. She loved all people and always welcomed friends and their children to visit her. She was amazing, generous, and kind.  She instilled these values in her children and grandchildren. Peggy is survived by her children, Diane Elaine Gause, Teri Jean Hendricks, Susan Denise Ryder, 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Richard Lisle Bordwell, and Stanley James “Jim” Bearden; her son, Roger Earl Bordwell;  great-grandchild, Teri Marie Garrett, and a brother, Dick Runyon. Special acknowledgments to Rosetta Assisted Living staff, Encompass Hospice staff, Serenity Funeral Chapel, and The Jehovah Witnesses . “A heart is not judged by how much you love; but by how much you are loved by others”. Her favorite quote was, “ We Cannot Direct the Winds, but We Can Adjust Our Sails” Cremation was under the direction of Serenity Funeral Chapel Life Celebration Center & Cremation Services of Idaho, Twin Falls.  Condolences may be shared at www.serenityfuneralchapel.com.
