On October 12, 2019, Maria Vona passed away at the age of 74 years. Maria is survived by her loving husband, Antonio, of 56 years; daughters, Pina (Enzo) Corbo and Angela (Mario) Larizza; grandchildren, Isabella, Andreia, Siena, and Dante; two brothers, Eleonoro (Antonietta) Coco and Giuseppe (Anna) Coco; sisters-in-law, Giulia, Annunziata, Antonietta, and Laurenzia; brother-in-law, Tommaso; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Predeceased by her parents, Angelo and Natalina. Thank you to the staff at the Allen Gray Continuing Care Centre for their phenomenal care. Family and friends may pay their respects Thursday, October 17 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Funeral Home, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton. Funeral Mass Friday, October 18 at 10:30 a.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church, 9110 – 110 Avenue. Reverend George Puramadathil CFIC officiating with interment in St. Anthony Cemetery.
