It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dearly beloved mother and grandmother, Giuseppina Moscardelli at the age of 89 years. Giuseppina passed away peacefully on December 12, 2017. Giuseppina will be greatly missed and forever cherished and remembered by her loving daughters, Loretta (Brian Bacon), Anna Maria (John Hanson) and Silvana Moscardelli; Sarah Hanson, Giuseppina’s much loved granddaughter; brother, Claudio De Santis; and many more relatives and friends both in Edmonton and in Italy. Giuseppina was predeceased by her husband, Silvio Moscardelli. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Citadel Care Centre for their compassionate care and special thanks to Mom’s caregiver, Jocelyn Causing. Although Giuseppina was presented with many health challenges over the last several years, she always faced every challenge with strength and resilience. Funeral Mass Saturday, December 16 at 11:30 a.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church with entombment in Holy Cross Mausoleum.
