NOWEN, Keith Clayton June 18, 1948 – September 11, 2013 On September 11, 2013 Keith passed peacefully at home with his wife Chris and his three faithful companions by his side. He was born on June 18, 1948 at Milford Station, Hants County, Nova Scotia. His childhood years were spent in various communities in Nova Scotia, Ontario and Quebec. In 1965 he joined the Canadian Air Force. While he enjoyed his career with the Canadian Air Force Keith felt furthering his education was important. In 1980 he earned his Bachelor of Theology and in 1982 he was granted his Master of Religious Education. He spent a brief time in the ministry. In 1984 he began work with the Correctional Service of Canada at Bowden. When he moved to the Innisfail area, he felt he came home. Keith was enthusiastic about life.
