Sadly, on August 2, 2019, Nestor passed away peacefully with family by his side. He will be remembered by his wife Joan of 59 years, and his three children David (Karen), Wendy (Sean), Dwayne (Cara) and his grandchildren Madie, Ben, Emma, Kaitlyn, Jolene, Megan and Nickolas. Nestor is survived by his two brothers Peter and Ernie (Donna), and sisters-in-law Terry and Audrey, and brother-in-law Irv, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his twin infant brothers, brother Ron, sister-in-law Trudy, and his mother and father. A celebration of Dad’s life will be on Friday, August 9, 2019 at the Transcona Memorial United Church at 209 Yale Avenue West at 11:00 am with a lunch to follow. In lieu of cards and flowers, donations can be made in honour of Nestor’s legacy to the Transcona Memorial United Church Building Fund. Dad, your guiding hand on our shoulders will remain with us forever!
