SMITH, ATHOLL “A.D.R” – A Retired Inspector with Ontario Provincial Police, passed away peacefully at the Bayview Retirement Residence on Friday April 20th, 2012. Atholl, born in Edinburgh, Scotland, in his 84th year. Loving husband of Ramona (Barry)Smith. Dear father of Lorraine Kealey of Petawawa, and Paul Smith (Penelope) of Oxford, England. Atholl is survived by his sister Letitia Dickinson of England, and brothers; Russell Smith (Pamela) of Australia, Andrew Reid-Smith, and Hamish Reid-Smith, both of England. Friends are invited to call at the STIRLING FUNERAL CHAPEL 87 James Street, Stirling (613-395-2424) on Thursday April 26th, 2012 from 12:00 p.m. until time of service in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. A Royal Canadian Legion Memorial Service will take place at 1:45 p.m. Reverend Nancy Beale officiating. Interment will follow at Stirling Cemetery.
