Hughes, Marjorie Eleanor- Passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday September 20th, 2011. Marjorie Hughes (nee Lucas) of RR# 2 Shannonville, in her 78th year. Daughter of the late Garfield and Eva Lucas. Beloved wife of John Francis "Jack" Hughes for 56 years. Dear mother of Penny Graham (John), Valerie Hughes (Steve), Jaqueline Hughes all of Belleville and Garry Hughes (Sharon) and daughter in law Donna Hughes all of Deseronto. Dear sister of Doug Lucas (Marjorie) of Quinte West. Predeceased by her sisters Betty Way (Doug), Shelva Richardson (Sam) and by her brothers William "Curly" Lucas, Ray Lucas and Jack Lucas (Lois). Survived by her sisters in law Joyce Lucas of Stirling and Theresa Lucas of Belleville. Loved by her eleven grandchildren and by her twenty-three great grandchildren. Friends may call at the John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Ave. Belleville (613-968-5588) on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday September 24th, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Margaret Goodwin officiating. Interment Belleville Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
