Peggy Elizabeth Peake Belleville, Ontario Obituary

Peggy Elizabeth Peake

Peggy is my heart, and soul, the best of me. She was a daughter to the late Bob Peake, and Jean Scotti. Step daughter to Frank Scotti, sister to Bobbi Whelan, and Susan Welch, aunt of Jason, and John. Peggy lived her life and loved animals. after being a Veterinary assistant in which she burned herself out for caring for animals, she became an R.M.T. to help others. She worked through Fixed for Life to help feral cats in the last 20 years. Peggy lived most of her life with Fibromyalgia, but always lived her life to the fullest she possibly could , and looked for the best in everyone. I never knew I could miss her so much until now, and I know she will be missed. PEAKE, Peggy Elizabeth It is with great sadness that we share the sudden and unexpected passing of Peggy Elizabeth Peake on Friday April 17, 2020 at home in her 60th year. Peggy was born in Belleville on June 14, 1959 and the middle daughter of the late Robert Peake and Jean Scotti (nee: Thurston). Survived by her step-father Frank Scotti. Long time partner to Daniel Dale. Dear sister to Susan Welch (Barrie) and Bobbi-Ann Whelan (John). Proud aunt of John Robert (Kim) and Jason Patrick (Tasha) Whelan. Dearly remembered by her extended family, Angeli Scotti, Gary Scotti (Debbie), and Paul Scotti (Diane). Joshua and Jeremy Logan, Justin Brix, Dejzana and Kijana Scotti. Will be remembered by many cousins and friends. Peggy was a lover of animals and was a veterinary assistant for over eight years working for vet hospitals in Calgary, Port Hope, Belleville and Stirling. She later changed careers becoming a Registered Massage Therapist having her own business for many years in Belleville until retiring. She loved to travel and broaden her horizons, was a wonderful talented poet and member of the Bay of Quinte Yacht Club. She had many animals as company along her life journey and in her later years became passionate about the feral cat population and in helping with that cause. She was a strong supporter of Quinte Human Society and Fixed Fur Life. A memorial will take place at a future date. She will be forever loved and missed.
