McFARLANE, Phyllis Jean (nee Badgley)- Passed away peacefully at the Belleville General Hospital on Monday, September 7th, 2015. Jean McFarlane of Richmond Retirement Residence, formerly of Melrose, at the age of 92. Daughter of the late Roy Badgley and Beatrice Huff. Loving wife of the late John “Jack” McFarlane. Predeceased by her daughters Janice Callahan, Gloria McFarlane, Donna McFarlane, her sisters Doris Badgley, Evelyn Pascoe-Turner, her brothers Kenneth and Earl (late Thelma Perry) Badgley and her grandson Sean. Jean will be sadly missed by her daughters Joyce McFarlane (Linda) of Shannonville, Carol Locke (Kerry) of Belleville, her son-in-law Charlie Callahan of North Carolina, her sister Marie Kimmerley (late Harold) of Napanee, as well as her cherished grandchildren; Jason (Renee), Erin (Chad), Adam (Christina), Scott, Jennifer and great grandchildren Sean, Cally and Cohen.. Jean will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call at the JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Ave. Belleville (613-968-5588) on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held from Melrose United Church on Friday September 11th, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. (with visitation one hour prior from 12-1 p.m.).
