Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Wednesday, May 3, 2017. Alice Loretta Hanna, at the age of 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Elmer Hanna, and dear mother of Bonnie (John) McDougall, Jerry (Linda) Hanna and Joy (Rob) Barrowclough. Sadly missed by LeRoy (Doris) Wood and Suzanne Johns. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Michael and Chris Hanna, Shelley Strangis, Andrew McDougall and Beth Edgar, as well as her great grandchildren Jacqueline McDougall, Knoxton Hanna, Liam and Abigail Strangis, Matthew Edgar, Dylan and Sloane Scott. Also survived by one great great grandchild Maxwell and by several nieces and nephews. Alice was predeceased by a number of brothers and sisters.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Sunday, May 7th from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A celebration of Alice's life will be held on Monday at the Christ United Church, Lyn at 11 am. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Leeds and Grenville SPCA will be gratefully acknowledged.
