Dorothy Phillips, age 82, of Lewisburg, died Friday, July 5th, 2019 at NHC Oakwood. Mrs. Phillips was a native of Bedford County, the daughter of the late Aubrey and Mary Tribbel Mooneyham. She was a Homemaker and a member of the Church St. Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Luther George Phillips Jr. in 2016. She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Phillips (Cary) "Patty" Uselton of Murfreesboro, sisters, Mary Jane Moore of Shelbyville, and Linda Fay (Jack) Shearon of Elkmont, Alabama, and two grandchildren, Thomas Drake Uselton, and Nathaniel Hunter Uselton. Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, July 8th, 2019 at 11:00am at Lone Oak Cemetery with burial to follow. There will be no public visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Church Street Church of Christ Scholarship Fund. London Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
