Reid, Barbara Helen (nee Montgomery) R.N.

Passed away peacefully with family at her side at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Thursday, January 4th, 2018, at the age of 74. Beloved wife of Peter Reid. Loving mother to Paul (Stephanie), Karen Millross (David) and David (Shauna). Will be greatly missed by her 9 grandchildren, Nicholas, Katherine, Gregory, Sarah, Christopher, Andrew, Cale, Levi and Benjamin. Dear sister to Robert and Douglas Montgomery. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Blanche (Countryman) and Lorne Montgomery, her brother David Lloyd and her son James (Jimmy) Reid.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Sunday, January 7th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 8th at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 66 Church Street, Brockville at 10 am followed by interment at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery and a reception at Irvine Reception Centre. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation, Palliative Care will be greatly acknowledged.
