Beatrice May Tanney

Entered into rest at the Sherwood Park Manor on Sunday, October 10, 2010. Beatrice May (Reynolds) Tanney at the age of 84 years. Wife of the late Joseph Place and the late Harlow Tanney. Predeceased by her son Raymond Fletcher Place. Fondly remembered by a daughter-in-law Simone Place, by grandsons Joey Place and Billy Place and by great grandsons Sean and Justin Place. Dear sister of Irene Cooke, Gladys Crowder, Edith Pigg (Maurice) and Howard Reynolds. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Fletcher Reynolds and Edith Salmon and by her brothers John, Cecil and Morley Reynolds.

Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A service in celebration of Beatrice's life will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 1pm followed by interment at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged.
