<p>Well Done!</p><p>A friend in an instant and an incredible love to his wife (Doris) of nearly 60 years, David left this world a better place on March 28, 2018. The first to laugh and the first to love, David lived a wonderful life, rich with memories and forged a place in the hearts of all those that he crossed paths with. Always willing to share an opinion (or three), David loved his many friends, dinner clubs, golf outings, cottage time, fishing poorly, special trips and more than anything, Dave loved to be with his family.</p><p><br></p><p>David Edwin II was born in Toronto, ON on April 1, 1937 to David Edwin I and Dora (nee Shephard) Hallett and was stepson to Jack Tutton, who predeceased him.</p><p><br></p><p>David is the proud dad to David Edwin III (Peggy) Hallett of Kingston, ON and Darlene (Rich) of Carleton Place ,ON. Proud “Gramps” to David Edwin IV (Amanda) and Jack Hallett and Tristan (John) and Jordan Weedmark. Loving brother to Dora (Ed) Sulkowski and loving uncle to many nieces, nephews and their extended families. Cherished also by Max and Cathy Maximos and special “grandpa” to Chelsea Maximos. </p><p><br></p><p>A special thanks to St. Elizabeth nurses, Cerian Brown for her smile and constant humour, Matt Williams for always being happy and Tina for thinking outside the box.</p><p><br></p><p>The family will receive friends at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James St. East, Brockville on Monday, April 2nd. Visitation will be from 11 am - 1 pm. Funeral Service will be at 1 pm in the Irvine Chapel followed by a Celebration of Life reception. Interment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Maitland at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Rotary Brockville, Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care, or the First Presbyterian Church would be gratefully acknowledged by Dave's family.
