On Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Brockville General Hospital; the former Ruth Lillian Ford at the age of 79 years. Beloved wife of Robert L. (Bob) Bell of Brockville and loving mother of Donna Bell and her husband Michael Loftus of Toronto. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Liam and Aidan. Also survived by her nieces Lynn, Karen, Sandra and Jeannie and by her nephew Ian. Ruth was predeceased by her parents Leslie and Lillian (nee Cleathro) Ford, as well as by her son Douglas Robert Bell, by her brother Robert Leslie Ford, and her sister-in-law Marion Currie and her husband Ronald. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Saturday evening from 6-8 p.m. and on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. followed by funeral services in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment at Oakland Cemetery.
