Passed away peacefully at the Sherwood Park Manor on Thursday, March 4, 2021. Ruth (Hellyer) Forrest, at the age of 96 years. Beloved wife of the late James Forrest and dear mother of Jim Forrest (Ingrid) of Brockville and Kenneth Forrest (Karen deceased) of Maitland. Ruth will be sadly missed by her cherished granddaughters Shannon (Kent) of Maitland and Ainslie (Richard) of Ottawa; her great grandchildren Taylor, Michael, Meghan, Aiden, Logan, Quinlan and Rowyn; and by her sister Gladys Jacques. She was predeceased by her sisters Phyllis, Barbara and Patricia; by her brothers Fred, Ken, Bob and Rolly; and by her parents Frederick and Annie (Turland) Hellyer.

A service in honour and celebration of Ruth's life will take place at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 1 pm. Service recording is now available below.

Interment will take place at Oakland Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care will be gratefully acknowledged.
