Hendrikje ‘Hennie’ Kuipers ~ of Palmerston, passed away at her daughter’s home in Clinton on Sunday, January 27, 2013, in her 89th year. Hennie was the wife of the late John Kuipers and the mother of Andy and Effie Kuipers of Exeter, Jeanette and Gerben Wynja of Clinton, Jack and Diane Kuipers of Harriston, and Peggy and Everett Stege of Palmerston. Remembered by her grandchildren Amanda and Paul Doucette, Kim Kuipers, Patricia and Dave Smith, Barb and Con Bos, Kevin and Nat Wynja, Mike and Kailley Wynja, Brenda and Ren Beintema, Christina and Dave Salverda, Pam Bolton, Terry and Anneke Kuipers, Deb Kuipers, Steve and Laura Kuipers, Chris and Missy Stege, Jen and Tim Martin, Tracey and Jordan Constable, Shane and Amanda Stege, and Suzanna and Brendan Kennedy; by her great-grandchildren Finnleigh Doucette, Lochlan Doucette, Luke Scott, Jade Scott, Tyler Smith, Lanie Smith, Jenna Smith, Nathanael Smith, Hannah Smith, Sarah Smith, Joseph Smith, Kyle Bos, Cody Bos, Myah Bos, Tyler Wynja, Darcy Wynja, Julia Wynja, Melyssa Beintema, Lucas Beintema, McKayla Beintema, Alyson Beintema, Keira Bolton, Travis Bolton, Cole Kuipers, Ella Kuipers, Haile Martin, Leah Constable, and Luke Stege; and by her great-great-grandson Silas. Survived by four sisters and and by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two sisters. Friends may call at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston for visitation on Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and at the Drayton Reformed Church on Wednesday, January 30th from 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Palmerston Cemetery. Memorial donations to Drayton Reformed Church or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
