Tovey, Edith Mabel (née Grow), of R.R. #1 Kincardine, passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre - Kincardine on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Andrew Tovey. Dear mother of Brian (Helen) Tovey of R.R. #1 Tiverton and Cathy Tovey and Randy Lobb of Rexdale. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Heather and Andrew Tovey and Damien and Samantha Lobb. Predeceased by her brother Roy Grow and sister Ruth (Mel) Cameron. Survived by her brothers-in-law, Don Tomlinson of Brampton and Charlie Tighe of Sandhill and her sisters-in-law, Doreen Grow of California, Helen McDevitt of Caledon and Joyce Tovey of Sudbury. Also sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, 757 Princes Street, Kincardine, ON, N2Z 1Z5, 519-396-2701, on Saturday, July 19, at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Fr. Peter Jurzyk officiating. Interment, Kincardine Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
