Stanley, Irene Rosemary (née Shewfelt), of Kincardine, passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre-Walkerton on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Earl Stanley (1976). Dear mother of Susan (Allan) Coleman of Durham and Cameron (Elaine) Stanley of Moncton, New Brunswick. Loved grandmother of Megan and Katelyn Coleman and Joel and Matthew Stanley. Predeceased by her infant son Scott, her brothers, Milton and Ernest Shewfelt and her sisters, Roberta Shaw and Jacqueline Wakefield. Also survived by her sisters-in-law, Shirley MacKinnon, Helen (Clarke) Pollock and Marjorie (Jim) McTavish, all of Kincardine and Leona Setley of Walkerton. Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, on Monday, August 24, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Don Harry officiating. Interment, Greenwood Cemetery, Burlington. Memorial donations to the Kincardine Scottish Pipe Band or United Way of Bruce Grey (Owen Sound Fire Victims Fund) would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
