Scott Crellin Bailey Obituary

In Memory of Scott Crellin Bailey It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Scott Bailey, of Kincardine, in his 75th year, surrounded by those dearest to him, at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario on Thursday, September 3, 2015. Scott was the son of Sgt. James M. Bailey (lost in WW11) and Eileen Deeley (his mother, deceased), and Charles Deeley (his step father, deceased). He will be fondly remembered by his family, Penny, his son Tim, of whom Scott was so proud and his lovely grandson, Liam. He will be missed by his relatives and many dear, life-long friends. Scott will always be remembered for his love of running and all of the good times that he spent at Springbank Park and the trails around Kincardine and Bruce Beach, which he loved so dearly. Rest peacefully, until we see you again at “your place”. Scott’s family would like to express its sincerest gratitude to all of the nurses, doctors and staff in the Critical Care Unit of Victoria Hospital. We especially want to thank his friend, Ruth MacLean, for all of her goodness toward Scott. Scott will be missed by all his friends at the Knotty Pine Restaurant, Davidson Centre and many more. Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, on Saturday, September 12 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of a Celebration of Life at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Kathy Fraser officiating. Private interment at the Wellington Square United Church Memorial Gardens, Burlington. Memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
