WATSON, Ellen G. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, on January 31, 2016, at the age of 100. Predeceased by her husband, William Watson, her daughter, Sylvia Grant, and her granddaughter, Sam. Loving mother to Bill Watson(Lorraine),Joanne Gibb(Ross), and her son-in-law, Denton. Devoted grandmother of Charlene, Linda, Susan, Kelly, and Dawn. Ellen will be greatly missed by all of her great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Ellen’s family would like to extend their warm thanks to the staff at Wynfield Long Term Care, Fairview Lodge, and Dr. Groen and the staff of the 8G wing of Lakeridge Health Oshawa, for all of their care and compassion. In keeping with Ellen’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. If desired, memorial donations to either Fairview Lodge or Wynfield Long Term Care are greatly appreciated.
