Jean McDowall

McDowall, Jean Patricia – Passed away peacefully at the age of 63 on Monday January 19th, 2009 at the Lakeridge Health, Oshawa, after a courageous two and a half year struggle with cancer. She was a beautiful and loving person whose absence is, and will be, deeply felt. Jean is predeceased by her father, Cyril Lawrence Bowser and leaves behind her most precious gifts, her children, Cheryl and Wayne McDowall, and Heather Ali (McDowall). Also left behind to cherish the fondest of memories is her beloved mother, Nora Bowser LePage (Hanley), her loving step-father, John LePage, her wonderful brothers, Larry and Bob Bowser, and her many cousins in Montreal and London, and nieces and nephews. Over the years Jean was blessed with good friends in Montreal, Toronto, London and Oshawa. A Memorial Service for Jean will be held at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa, Ontario on Saturday, February 7th, 2009 at 1 p.m. Memorial donations to The Terry Fox Foundation or to the Princess Margaret Hospital would be appreciated.
